About the Project

Description of the project:
The project is part of the global response to climate change, in which we present a series of objectives aimed at promoting environmental awareness and action among young people and youth workers. We seek to promote active citizenship, skills development and the revitalisation of local spaces through sustainable practices. Through a participatory methodology, the project aims to generate a significant change in perception and concrete actions towards environmental sustainability, thus contributing to the mitigation of the effects of climate change.
Objectives of the project:
The objectives that we have obtained during the time of implementation of the project were:

Promote and raise awareness about the need to fight climate change and the fight for the maintenance of natural environments.

Promote the participation of young people in society, acquiring an active citizenship in which they defend and disseminate tolerance and respect towards the environment and nature. It is at a local and international level given the size of the project and the organizations that take part in it.

Develop the skills of youth workers and provide them with the necessary tools so that they can develop a better job in future projects.

Generate activities that improve local environments, through environmental sustainability and respect for nature.

Train partner organizations to increase and improve their capacities regarding the problems of climate change, providing them with the necessary tools to contribute to the situation of the group.

Results of the project
The results that we had have obtain from this project and to achieve the objectives set, are the following:
Raise

Raise awareness about climate change and the duty to respect the environment for young people.

Training

Improve the training of youth workers so that they can develop their functions with more resources in future projects.

Resources

Create a guide that can be used by any organization, containing activities and tools for youth workers. These activities to generate environmental awareness

Sinergys

Allow partner organizations to increase their organizational capacity and experience for future projects.

Youth for the Future:
“Youth for the Future” (YFTF) was created in 2017 in Seixo de Gatões (Coimbra, Portugal) as an informal group aiming to implement non formal education methods with Young People from the region and to develop work within the framework of Erasmus + projects and therefore to act with the motto “Think global, Act local”.
High on Life:

“High on Life” is the feeling that you get when you live life to its fullest: someone who is high on life can find reasons to smile in the smallest things, and won’t let any random thing ruin the day. Our main aim is to share this “feeling” with as many European young people as possible, for letting them understand how amazing life is! We strongly believe that young people must become a driving force in building the society in which they live; therefore, we want to always create more opportunities in order to help shape a generation that is determined to change our country and the world for the better.

High on Life Spain:
High on life Spain born has an antenna of “High on Life Global Network”, actually the network count with antennas in Italy, Chile, Malta and Martinique. We are a group of young people with huge experience in European programs, the associative field and non formal learning. We want to share our restless spirit with other young people around Spain, Europe and the World. We have an International vocation and we offer to young people both from spain and Europe to join our projects.
